what is the exact definition of biot savart law?
Hi Abinav,
Biot Savart law tell that is an equation that gives the magnetic field produced due to the current carrying segment. this segment is taken as a vector quantity known as the current element.
The equation is
|dB| = (μ0/4π )(IdlsinΘ/r2)
where,
μ0 is the permeability of free space.
Hope this helps!!
According to biot savart law-
the magnetic intensity at any point due to a steady current in an infinitely long straight wire is directly proportional to the current and inversely proportional to the distance from point to wire
Add formula of biot savart law after above statement..
Hope so it may help you.
Thank you.
