Jee advanced 2k18 will be conducted online for the first time. As many students don't have much computer access, so I think paper will be slightly easy like previous year and marking scheme will be same. Few single correct questions carrying (+3,-1), few multiple correct questions carrying (+4,-2,partial marking), and some questions may be comprehension based or column matching carrying (+2 or +3,0) each and some  integer based questions carrying (+3,0). I think cutoff's will be also less as many students from village area don't have practice of giving an online test, so they might not perform as well as they can do so in offline exam. So, practice more online and be relaxed in exam, you can score very good. All the best!

IIT Kanpur has released JEE Advanced 2018 exam pattern for aspiring candidates, which carries detailed information about various aspects related to the test like type and nature of questions, the total number of questions and marks, marking scheme, time allotted to attempt the paper, etc. Aspiring candidates can have an idea about the exam pattern of JEE Advanced 2018 by going through the exam pattern of the previous years. The exam conducting IIT decides and changes JEE Advanced exam pattern every year. However, no major or drastic changes are made in the exam pattern of JEE Advanced every year. There are 2 papers in JEE Advanced and it is compulsory to appear in both the papers – Paper I and Paper II. JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted in computer-based mode for 3 hours on May 20. Like the previous years, it’s expected that JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2018 would also have full marking, partial marking, zero marking and negative marking.
