Hello pallavi,

ISI Admission Test consists of 2 parts:

  • The section A of the test contains multiple choice questions in Mathematics and logical reasoning. The questions are of the undergraduate level.
  • The section B of the test contains descriptive, short answer questions from Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, and Engineering & Technology.

On the other hand if you are the  one who are applying for admission into M.Tech in CS will find five parts in Section B.Then you  have to attempt only one section out of the 5 sections: Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering & Technology.

There is no negative marking in ISI entrance exam and time duration for exam is 4 hours i.e 2 hours each.

Hope it helps

Thank you :)
