However, assuming you wanted to do engineering from India. There are two categories of colleges you can find government and private.



Government colleges have decent fees which most of people can afford. For example it can vary from 60000 to 100000. This is only institutional fees. Other than this if you opt for hostel, then they will charge you for the same as well as for the Mess fees. Which would be around 30000-40000 in total. So overall you can complete your bachelors within 4 lac to 6 lac.



Now coming to private colleges, the fee structure is too high. But they do provide facilities for that. Now usually institutional fees for private colleges are in range of 1lac to 2lac per semester. Besides this if you opt for hostel, then you have to pay 40000 - 60000 depending on A.C hostel or Non- ac hostel.
