Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar is a private college with UGC approval and has NAAC A accreditation. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar was established in the year 2002 and is a co-ed college. KIITwas declared as a Deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Institute is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
