Hello Aspirant..

Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) is an acronym for tuition fee waiver.

The government has instituted this scheme for meritorious and economically disadvantaged students seeking admission to universities/university departments, government colleges, and self-financing universities/colleges that offer engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architectural courses.

The student's total annual family income from all sources must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand), and you must also produce proof of income.

If you fall into this category, you have the option of applying through TFW or through the OBC category. The merit list is the sole criterion for selection.

I hope this information helps.

Regards.
