MDS conservative dentistry and endodontics is a post graduate course where one gets to learn and specialise in different procedures and different practices one needs to do as a dentist.

If one wishes to choose this programme you would need to have a few qualities as-

• be interested and have the aptitude for the restoration, rehabilitation and maintenance of teeth.
• have acritical mind for reading and understanding scientific literature and manufacturer's advertising claims.
• have an aptitude for independent research and an interest in practicing innovative treatment protocols.

These are the basic points on which you should assess yourself. If you fit all the above details then you should persue this career.

For getting into this course one needs to know a few things about the same beforehand-

• You need to have an undergraduate degree.
• This is a 3year programme and it is a semester type system.
• One should have the UG degree from a registered college.
• Their is no common entrance test. However the colleges may take their own entrance test if needed.

The maximum is above 15LPA and the minimum being nearly about 5LPA.
