What is the future of chemical engineers specially from nirma university??
Hi Sahil,
Chemical engineering has tremendous career opportunities as very few chemical engineers are there. To give you an idea, there is only one college under UTU providing bachelors in chemical engineering. This decreases competition and increases opportunities. The best career option for you is to prepare for GATE-EXAM. GATE gives admissions to IITs(India's best engineering institutes) and also jobs in various big government and private companies. All the big Navratana and Maharatan companies fill their vacancies based on GATE score of the candidate.
Since the number of students in chemical engineers is very low(~40k) as compared to other branches like MECHANICAL(~3 lakh) the chances increase exponentially. All you need is to prepare with dedication for a year. Also, college of graduation does not matter in GATE.
