Hi! The branch of Medical Science that deals with emergency medical treatment, diagnosis, and treatment of different diseases and health problems using cynical labs, diagnostic tools, X-rays, ultrasound, etc is called Paramedical Science. Due to the shortage of the Paramedical workforce in India, the demand for paramedics in the healthcare sector has been on a steady increase in the past decade.

Expectedly, a number of students are moving towards pursuing Paramedical courses in India, which signals a bright future if you want to pursue it after 12th. You can opt for a variety of programs if you opt to become a paramedic. From bachelor degrees to master to short-term certificate courses to diploma courses, this field offers them all at the UG, Diploma, or the PG level. Salary wise, an early career Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Paramedic with 1-4 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 133,398 and a mid-career Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Paramedic with 5-9 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 190,000. This is subjective as there are various sub specializations and areas, and the salaries vary accordingly.

So, I hope it helped. All the best!
