The GN rank cutoff is the rank determination overall in general category. The GL rank cutoff is your rank in Girls category only. Generally, the GN rank is considered for all processes but since there are reserved seats for girls category, you get an idea through GL rank that how many girls are ahead of your for Girls category seats. Your ranks for separate categories like GN and GL are mentioned on your score card.
