NIT Rourkela reported 53 per cent growth in placements of the graduating batch of 2018 with the highest pay of 39.1 LPA. A total of 212 companies visited the campus this year and made a total of 1016 job offers.

In the year 2019, 909 job offers were bagged by the students from different departments.
