So this time VIT conducted placement drives for the 2018-19 batch, and the results for CSE were impressive. Many companies visits VIT to offer jobs as well as internships. Some of the leading brands also comes for campus placements like, Amazon, PayPal, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Intel, Infosys, Wipro, etc.

Now talking about the packages, this time Microsoft offered the dream package of 39 lakhs per annum to 8 students. Quit impressive, isn't it. Not only microsoft, DE Shaw also offered a package of 33 lakhs and then PayPal offered a package of 21.5 lakhs. These were some of the dream package for CSE branch in VIT.

Now the thing for highest and least package totally depends from person to person. If you perform really good in the exams and the interviews then definitely you will also be getting your dream package, but if you are not able to perform well up to their standards, then you can be in the line of the least package also. But the  thing is that VIT trains its students well, so everyone receives a decent package. Talking about the average package for CSE branch for the year 2019 it was nearly 5.5 lakhs. And if you want to know the least package offered, it somewhere around 3.5-4 lakhs.

In most of the Engineering colleges, CSE is the department that gets the more number of and highest placements.
Last year in VIT the highest package was offered by Microsoft.  They recruited 8 students with a salary of 39 lakhs per annum.
DE Shaw took 1 student with 33 lakhs per annum.
PayPal took 7 students with 21.5 lakhs per annum.
