The average placement package was for 2.4 lakhs last year. The highest package was for 7 lakhs. The highest package is usually offered to students of Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications and Electrical and Electronics.
I wouldn't recommend other courses like Mechanical and Civil engineering where the packages aren't very impressive.
