The highest package of Chennai Institute of Technology is 22 LPA and the average package is 5.5LPA. The placements in the college are good enough compared to other colleges. Apart from placements, internships are also provided for the second and third-year students in companies to learn the skills. Students have availed an internship in Expansion and got placed in Tata Consultancy Services.

Almost 90 percent of the students who were engaged in the placements program were placed before leaving college. Rest were continuously helped by the college management for their interviews.
