Hello,
NIT Warangal has been given a special seating arrangement after the partition of state of Andhra Pradesh into the state of Telangana. MHRD has approved creation of supernumerary seats exclusively for the Andhra Students.
This doesn't mean the representation for Telangana students will be less. They are entitled for 50% Home state quota as usual. The supernumerary seats were created to ensure smooth transitioning from NIT Warangal to NIT AP students for Andhra candidates. I hope it clears your doubt.
