what is the income limit to differentiate between OBC NCL and OBC CL? what are the elements to calculate income?
Hi Krishna,
OBC is a term used for socially and educationally deprived or disadvantaged areas people and there is a provision of 27% reservation by the Govt. Of India.
There are two sub-categories of OBC:
1. Creamy Layer
2. Non-Creamy Layer
The difference between both are as below:
Creamy Layer:
- Income above 8 lakh
- Treated as equivalent to general category
Non-Creamy Layer:
- Income below 8 lakh
- Get benefits of govt schemes and examination.
Thankyou.
