You cannot get admission in Thapar university only on the basis of Jee main marks their is some eligibility criteria which involves your board percentage too.


Talking about a genreal candidate


I. With atleast 60% marks in boards you need 72+ marks in Jee mains.


II. With atleast 80% marks in boards you need 48+ marks in mains.


If you satisfy any of the above criteria you can easily get admission into Thapar.

Well, Thapar university doesn't consider JEE rank they will consider only JEE MAINS marks.The last year cut off was 156 but this year it may decrease to 140 but not less than that. It is advicable to score marks 155 to 160 to be in a safer side.
