Though you haven't mentioned the board you are asking for but l am providing you a generalised idea about CBSE and ICSE both

CBSE (CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION)

For Board Classes, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) introduced a two-exam policy. There will be two terms in the current academic year. At the end of each term, board exams will be held.

ICSE (INDIAN CERTIFICATE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION)
