Hello dear

Aldosterone the main mineralocortiod in our body.

Its function is to regulate the balance of water and electrolytes i.e ions such as sodium and potassium in our body .

The mineralocorticoid hormones act on the kidney and specifically on the tubules of the kidney, they facilitate reabsorption of sodium ions and water from urine .
Thus, Aldosterone plays a major role in regulating the balance of electrolytes and water

I hope that you find this helpful

Thankyou
