Hello,

Master in civil engineering is pursued through GATE .

To study for GATE there are following things to be kept in mind

  • One need not complete the syllabus from the first topic to the last topic rather they need to prepare for the exam in a smarter way.
  • Every candidate needs to find out whether there is any connection between different chapters, the weightage carried by the topics or sections.
  • It is important for every aspirant to be aware of GATE 2021 exam pattern.

GATE exam pattern is as following -

1.There will be 65 questions of total 100 marks

2.Question types will be MCQs and NAT questions

3.There will be negative marking for MCQs and not for NAT questions

4.The question paper will have three parts – General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Subject-specific part.

Every candidate must ensure that they prepare a long term study plan that includes regular revision, appearing in mock tests and test series.

Hope this helps!!
