Candidate must have a recognised bachelor's degree B.E./ B.Tech with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
Candidate must have appeared for TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.
GATE qualified candidates in engineering or technology are exempted from TANCET exam through candidates who have a valid GATE score in engineering science (XE) and life science (XL) paper should appear for TANCET also.
