what is the meaning of diploma

I can simply say that it's the alternative of intermediate where there will be no mathematics but like engineering you need to choose which diploma you want to do like mechanical,  Civil,  ece, Eee etc..,  and after this you can directly join into any engineering college on 2nd year. When compared to intermediate,  in diploma you'll get more practical knowledge than you expected.

Diploma is Certification course whereas Degree is full fledged document stating your Qualifications and passing authentic document.



Diploma in Engineering studies is of 3 year duration post class10th,

whike degree is 4 year duration post class 12th Certification.



One cannot seek lucrative job prospects after only Diploma Certification.



Professional Degree from reputed approved college is must to be considered eligible for Placements.

They must be either approved by UGC and AICTE.



Curriculum for Diploma is purely Technical and offers overview of subjects and basic fundamentals.

Degree shall offer indepth Technical expertise, like Btech.



One can also pursue post graduation as Mtech ro futher specialise into Respective domain.



Here we can infer is Degree is must and highky important for career opportunities.
