1)Floating(Yes - Upgradation): implies candidate's willingness to be considered for all the higher preferred choices across the institutes for further round of seat allocation

2)Freezing(No - Upgradation): implies candidate's willingness to accept and remain with the program and institute alloted to him/her

NOTE: Payment of seat acceptance fee ( Rs.20000 for general) is essential for both Freezing & Floating, Non Payment of Fee will mean Exiting from Counselling Procedure.

Firstly The candidate, who has been allotted a seat, is required to exercise one of the following options through website for AKTU UPSEE counselling.

• FREEZE: if you are satisfied with the allotted seat then your seat is  freezed  and you are not considered for other rounds of counselling.
• If you do not report to the College after this your seat get cancelled and no refund is provided.
• FLOAT : if you want your seat but you are not satisfied with it then you can use float option after which you will be considered for next rounds of counselling .
• In this case you will be refunded.
• WITHDRAW: if you are not satisfied with the slot given to you then you can withdraw your admission .
• If you use this option then ot will mean that you have withdrawn from the whole counselling process.

You must choose any one of three options.

Well, it means both, any choice (any branch of any college) which is above your present choice in choice filled by you can be acquired, So, it means any college above your present can be given to you and you can't degrade it in subsequent rounds...
