Hi Biswaprakash,

Joint MSc PhD means that it gives you a chance to move out from masters degree if you don't want to study. Where is dual degree program is the program where the candidate cannot leave the degree in between and move about. In this is student need to do the MSc and then PhD continuously that is why it is said to be a joint program.

I hope your question has been answered properly.

All the best for your future!

Hello Biswaprakash,
Joint MSc.-PhD means the program where while taking admission you have decided to pursue PhD after completion of your MSc.
As the name suggests ,they are joined and so in this program you would do MSc. for 2 years and then PhD.
In joint MSc-PhD,there is a provision to not go for doctorate after completing MSc.
Doing MSc. And PhD as two different degrees has mostly more value than a joint MSc-PhD degree.
