what is the meaning of round 2 extended in comedk counselling process

Hey there!
In COMEDK counselling procedure at times even after round two there might be some empty seats or some people must've left their seats due to whatever the reason. That's leaves some open spots which are filled in the extended counselling. You might get a better college or a brach you wanted and couldn't get initially if you appear for the procedure.
