To get admission in NITs ,IIITs and CFTIs through seat allocation you must have to score minimum 75% in board or be in the top 20 percentile in 12th board examination in respective state board.

Top 20 percentile means 20% candidate score equal to or less than particular score in boards. If you r calculating your percentile then particular score will be your score,You must be in top 20 percentile to get admission through seat allocation.

If anyone score more than 80 percentile in jee mains still they need to score at least 75% in boards as it is mandatory for everyone to take admission in NITs ,IIITs and CFTIs.

GOOD LUCK!
