Hey aspirant,

I believe you are referring to the college predictions where it is said 'tough chances', which means that your chances of admission at that particular college is difficult or not possible, based on the marks/rank you have scored in the particular entrance examination. It simply means that your rank is not sufficient to obtain admission, which is predicted based on previous year's cutoff. The cutoff every year at colleges for a particular category is usually close enough to the previous year's trends.
