All India Institute of Medical Sciences conduct AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for admission to the MBBS course offered by the AIIMS institutions. Selection of the candidate is done on the basis of rank of candidate in the entrance exam. Medium of the exam is English and Hindi. Application process of AIIMS MBBS 2019 has been started. AIIMS MBBS 2019 application process is to be conducted in two stages- Basic Registration and Final Registration. Basic Registration process has been started and the last date to apply for the exam is January 14. About the exam AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam will be conducted in Computer Based mode (online). Exam will be conducted on 25 and 26 May 2019. Exam would be conducted in four shifts. Two shifts per day. Duration of the exam is 3 hours 30 minutes (220 minutes). Total number of 200 questions will be asked in the exam. Multiple Choice Based Questions including Assertion Reason will be asked in the exam. 140 Multiple Choice Questions and 60 Assertion Reason type questions are asked in the exam. Questions in the exam are asked from the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knoeledge and Aptitude and Logical Thinking. 60 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and 10 questions each from the General Knowledge and Aptitude and Logical Thinking sections. Marking scheme- one mark will be awarded for each correct answer and for every wrong answer -1/3 mark will be deducted. Language of the question apper will be English or Hindi as selected by the candidate. Candidates can choose the language of medium of question paper while filling the application form. After AIIMS MBBS result, merit list will be preparaed by AIIMS, New Delhi. Merit list includes the final scores of the candidates who have qualified the entrance exam. Candidates whose names are included in the merit list are called for the counselling. Counselling of AIIMS is conducted in online mode. During the counselling candidates have to register themselves by entering the required details. Candidates are also required to mention their preferences of course as well as the college for admission. After that, on the basis of AIIMS All India Rank of the candidate, availability of seats, choices mentioned by the candidate, seat allotment is done. After the seat allotment list is released, candidates have to report to the allotted college with all the required documents for admission. For admission, cutoff is released by the AIIMS Institutions. Cutoff is declared category wise. Candidates who qualify the cutoff are eligible for admission.
