There are many universities in Canada that do their primary screening based on academic records and  GPA. However, to be admitted to Canadian Universities, there are many other factors too. Presenting a paper at renowned recognized conferences, internships, work experience, remarkable extra curriculum activities all are bonuses to your application. You will have to be extremely careful in structuring your SOP (Statement of Purpose) that clearly indicates your interest in pursuing a particular university program.

In Canada there is no specific percentage or GPA needed to pursue MS degree course since most of the universities offers admission on the basis of entrance examination. Each University keeps updating their selection criteria every year. However, here is a general reference you can follow :

Students who have completed their master’s degree after pursuing their three-year bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for admission to master’s at a Canadian university.
