Hello,

The minimum age limit to appear for CBSE class 10th board exam is 14 years, that means the candidate must have completed 14 years of age as on 31st December of the year of examination, there is not any maximum age limit to appear for CBSE class 10th board exam.

Hello,

According to CBSE guidelines minimum age for a student to appear in standard X board examination is 14. A student must have turned 14 years old atleast by the December 31 of the academic year in which the student is studying class X.

So by the year 2026, your son will have completed the above eligibility criteria based in age, and hence can give the class X board examination.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.
