The CBSE board has not fixed any minimum/maximum age to appear in the CBSE Class 10th examination. However, at the time of admission, the student should satisfy the requirements of age limits (minimum & maximum) as determined by the State/U.T. Government and applicable to the place where the school is located.

Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
As per the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination .
However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam.
But there is maximum number of attempts to appear in the examination. A candidate can at most attempt 3 times for CBSE board exam. Your child is as of now around 10-11 years so he is not eligible for giving CBSE 10th Examination.
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks and Good Luck!!!!!
