Although a good CGPA is a plus point and some companies have that minimum CGPA criteria which varies company to company.

According to my friends CIVIL ENGINEERING placements from DTU doesnt offer a very attractive package. Core branches like civil only get an average of 5lakh per annum, which is still not bad looking at market conditions there are not very many jobs available, also private colleges dont even provide any placement for core companies, in comaprison to those its a good package.
