Hello Kankan,

To get a government medical college under all India Quota try to score more than 580 and if you are asking for state quota it will be lesser than that like say 29 or 30 marks but if you give your 100 % for preparation then that is also achievable so study smart solve more MCQs , give more and more mock exams.  You will get that sorted.

hi kunal, it  depends on whether you have state quota or not , but i would suggest that aim for 600, its high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it. NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims, and jipmer. The exam pattern is as follows:-

physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks

chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks

and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck

Look there cutoff score for admission to government medical college always vary it never remain constant as the cutoff doesn't depends on a single factor at all it comprises multiple factors which vary each year so we can't comment. On the cutoffs just one thing I would like to recommend is that you score as much as possible don't think about the cutoff or anything else just study hard till the end of your last examination date ,give your 100% in it and score rest let it be in hands of gods if you have work really well you are sure to achieve success.

Cut off scores for getting into a government medical college is one area which rarely manages to remain constant.

And it all depends on how difficult the paper is and how well your counterparts perform in the examination. The average score for making it into a medical college is hence never constant.

However, for your reference purpose, a score above 570 should fetch you a government seat in some college under All India 15% quota, which comprises of 15% of the government seats from nearly every state, barring Jammu and kashmir, telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

If you intend to contest for the 85% seats of state quota for which you hold a legit domicile certificate, a score above 530 should ensure you a seat in some government medical college.

Hi Kankan, As per your query about minimum cut off marks for NEET UG entrance, i would like to inform that it is it varies every year.. It depends on lots of factors like difficulty level of paper and number of students getting that mark etc... Also it will differ you applying from All india quota 15% or State quota 85%... Cut off of state quota is usually lower than all india quota.....

But going by previous trend through ALL INDIA QUOTA - 550 to 600 marks is required

Through state quota - 500 - 550 marks

If you require further information plz let us know

Hello Kankan

Mci has laid down that you should be getting above the 50th percentile which is round about 360 out of 720 to be eligible for counseling but that is mainly if you are ready to get admitted to any college even the private ones are the ones which are not so well reputed

If you are aiming for a government medical college by the 15% all India  quota you should be looking to score somewhere above 550 if not above 600

If you are aiming to get admitted by the 85% state quota then you should score a minimum of 450, although a score of excess of 500 and somewhere around 550 will receive one of the best government colleges of your state

However these data and Statistics may vary according to the quality of the paper of the examination in your year and also the performance of your fellow examinees in that particular year's Neet examination

Hope this helps, thank you

Hey hi,

As per previous year marks, we can say around 550 marks. But this may vary. May either increase or decrease.

My suggestion is to read more and get more marks so that you can be confident of getting a seat.

All the best.

sapna katyal 15th Dec, 2017
Around 570 marks would fetch you govt college by AIQ.

With state quota cut off falls. , but you haven't told you domicile.

Set higher target because cut off differ according to difficulty level.

Do previous year , that would help you revise .

Study hard

All the very best

Hope it helps
