Hello aspirant ,

It's important to pass all the requirements for giving it a medical go for the NDA physical test. Candidates’ height and weight must be in line with the prerequisites.

The minimum acceptable height required for the Indian Army is 157.5 cms.

The minimum height required for the Airforce is 162.5 cms.

  • Apart from this,  there are some relaxations provided to the gorkhas and candidates belonging to north eastern hills , part of Garhwal and Kumaon hills. These are given 5 cms of relaxation for minimum height.
  • For candidates from laskhdweep , 2 cms height relaxation is provided.

If you want to apply as an pilot then for that there is different standard.

  • Leg length - min 99 cms and max 120 cms
  • Thigh length - max 64cms
  • Sitting length - min 81.50 and max 96.0 cms

Also, check the height weight chart ( BMI CHART) for further clarifications.
