What is the minimum marks for joining ongc , iocl for having sc category in GATE ?

Hello aspirant,

As you are the student from SC category. Here I won't provide the exact rank but give to the good estimate. It’s all depends on the no of vacancies for SC and in open category.

Here I'm mentioning open category as the merit student SC will occupy the open category seat and there is chance for following next SC student to be in list.

Normally PSUs call 1:3 or 1:4 for interview. If there are 7 vacancies for SC minimum 21 to 28 no of students from SC are called for interview, if 'X' no of merit students from these 21 to 28 then 21+X or 28+X students from SC will get opportunity for interview. Similarly for the final list also.

In above case that 21+ 'X' or 28+'X' candidate may be AIR 400. As GATE won't give the category wise.

The example is valid only if all students from SCs category upto AIR 400 applied for PSU, If any student did not apply then next student will be added to that list.
