What is the minimum marks in jee advance for SC student to get into IIT with computer science engineering

Hello Lagan,

Through SC category the minimum rank should be within 835. With a closing rank of 835 you can get CSE branch in IIT Dhanbad. If your rank is greater than 835 CSE branch is not available for any other iit colleges. In 2018 the minimum required marks was around 220 to get CSE and in 2017 it was 273. Therefore the range of makes to get CSE in the lowest tier IIT should be around 220-273.

Hello Aspirant,

To the cutoff for SC category is maybe greater than or equal to 50 and you need to get minimum of 9% marks aggregate in each individual subject and minimum of 17.5% of aggregate marks altogether.To secure a seat in IITs you need to score above the cut off marks as it will increase the chances of fetching you a seat in your desired branch in your desired IIT.
