Hello, Sayon. I hope you are preparing well for NEET-UG. I wish you all the best for your exam. Well, a candidate needs to secure 50th percentile (if he is GEN), 40th percentile ( if he is SC/ST/OBC), 45th percentile (if he is GEN-PwD) and 40th percentile (if he is SC/ST/OBC-PwD) in order to get qualified for NEET-UG Counselling. Although, if anyone wants to get admission in Government Medical Colleges for studying MBBS through MCC All India Counselling then he/she should get at least 590 or above (600+ marks recommended). After 15% All India Quota, the remaining 85% State Quota seats will be allotted by respective state counselling authorities on the basis of NEET 2021 state wise cutoff scores. Even in State Counselling, General category students must secure more than 580 marks in NEET UG to get admission in Government medical colleges in most of the states except few.
If anyone thinks about trying for Private Medical Colleges for studying MBBS then he/she must secure 400+ marks or else there will be no chance of getting private colleges either. Even if you opt for joining through Management Quota, the fee would be really high in order to join MBBS course.
In conclusion, I can say if you want to get chance in good Government Medical Colleges for pursuing MBBS, you must secure 590+ marks.
