What is the minimum marks required to get admission in medical college for general category ??
Dear Sujyoti,
Try to score 550+. Then you will definitely get an MBBS seat in good medical college. As time left is very short, don't waste your time. I hope you have covered the syllabus. Now revise the topics multiple times and practice MCQs. Practice previous year question papers and sample papers. Give online mock tests. Take care of your health. Good luck.
It is with utter disappointment that I inform you that it is impossible to determine the cut off marks for a particular state in the examination. Candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination may refer to previous years' cut off marks as a whole for the examination but not for any particular state as such.
There are two ranks provided to each of the candidates appearing for the examination. One is the All India Rank and the other is the Regional or State Rank. Candidates may choose from either of the two in order to test their eligibility for admission to any of the medical colleges spread across the country.
The cut off marks varies from year to year and so only an approximate can be determined from the evaluation of previous years' cut off.
I hope this piece of information proves to be of some help to you.

However if you wish to get a mbbs seat in private medical college, you need to score 50 percentile (for general category candidates) or 40 percentile (for reserved category candidates) in neet ug exam.
Good luck..
Assuming you mean Medical College kolkata, you need a state rank within 100 general to get in there.
Target For 600 but remember that it is really tentative and marks visa vis rank vary every year depending on the difficulty of the paper.
All the best For your exam :)
