Hello student,
The cut off marks for general and reserved category are different and change every year depending upon the difficulty level of the exam, number of students appearing for the exam, the number of students scoring equal marks and the percentile score, etc.
An overall average score required to get admission into any medical college in India will be a 50% score i.e. 50th Percentile for a general category student. A 45% score or 45th percentile is required for a reserved category student to qualify for admission in any medical course all over India. If we talk about the exact NEET score then it would be better to score more than 550 in NEET to have a higher chance of qualifying for the admission. The cut off marks for last year were in the range of 550 and above. However, a score of 600 has a very good or chance absolute of admission for MBBS in any of the colleges in India.
Good luck!
For confirming your seat in government medical college you must have a score above 500 in NEET medical exam.
Last year candidate with score above 450 got a seat in medical college but in last rank college.
So for a good medical college you must have a score above 500 for general and above 400 for obc candidate.
I hope this information is helpful for you.
