In India, there are a number of international relations schools and institutions that provide full-time and part-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in both full-time and part-time formats. In India, there are approximately 32 colleges of International Relations.

A excellent bachelor's degree in a related discipline is usually required to qualify for a Master's in International Relations. A Bachelor's degree in international relations, history, politics, or economics is frequently required.

The minimum age is 21 years old. Maximum age is 30 years old as of August 1st of the examination year.
