Hello,

you need to get 510+ minimum to get into government college across India.

All the best!

Hie Yamini,

The NEET cut off to get into a government Medical College depends upon whether you will be applying under 15% All India Quota or under 85% State Quota. It also depends on the state you are interested in. The cut off varies from state to state as well as from college to college.

Assuming you are applying for All India Quota, under General, the closing rank (2017) for Government Medical College was 5579 which corresponds to a score of 520-530.

You must try to score above 540 to be absolutely sure to get a seat in a good government medical college.

All the very best for your preparations!
