Starting from the 2026-27 academic year, students appearing for the Kerala SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examinations will be required to score a minimum of 30% in each subject to pass.
This change aims to enhance educational standards by ensuring that students achieve a basic level of proficiency in each subject.
The implementation timeline is as follows:
2024-25 Academic Year: Minimum pass marks introduced for Class 8.
2025-26 Academic Year: Minimum pass marks extended to Class 9.
