Hey!

The NIFT 2022 eligibility criteria for B.Des Admission are as follows:-

  • Aspiring students must have passed the 10+2 board exam from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board of New Delhi, and the Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi, or the Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
  • Any Board/Public School/University Examination held in India or abroad that is equal to the 10+2 system and recognised by the Association of Indian Universities or,
  • If candidates complete the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Sri Lanka/ Cambridge/) at the Advanced (A) level/International Baccalaureate (IB) then, they are eligible to apply or,
  • Students will also be eligible if they have passed the National Open School's 10+2 Examination with at least five topics or, if they have passed the National Open School's 10+2 Examination with at least five subjects. AICTE or the State Board of Technical Education recognises a three- or four-year diploma.
  • As on August 1, 2022, candidates must be 23 years old. Candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PHP) are given a 5-year exemption.

Hello candidate,

Here are some of the criteria recording class 12th eligibility criteria to apply for NIFT BDS examination-

1. The students must pass the Class 12 exam in the 10+2 pattern of examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

2. Moreover, A pass grade in the Higher Secondary Education Examination held by the National Open School with at least five subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is needed.
