Qualifying Examination: A candidate must have passed class 10+2 from the central/state government recognized board/university.
Subjects: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical) in all the three subjects in regular class mode.
Percentage Marks required: A candidate should have scored minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the three subjects taken together. The candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum of 30% marks in English.

General category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates should have scored 40% in the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology taken together in 10+2 or equivalent exam to be eligible for WBJEE . All candidates are required to have qualified English in 10+2 with atleast 30% marks.
