If you want to get into top IIMs like IIM A, B and C then you need to get above 93 percentile to get a call for interview and WSAT round. And to increase probability of conversion aim for 95+ percentile. In order to get call.from other old IIMs like IIM L, I , K you need to score above 85+ percentile to get a call and around 90 will increase probability of conversion. For IIM I case might be a little difference because it gives much more weightage to academic records even more than CAT marks. Having 80+ percentile you Can get calls from all New IIMs.



Having above 90+ percentile will also help you in converting good b-schools like FMS, Delhi and JBIMS, Mumbai. FMS give 85 percentage weightage to CAT marks. So higher the percentile higher is the probability of conversion.



If you are giving CAT 2017 then very less time is left so you need to brush up on your basics and give up lots of online mock test and analyse the solutions which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.
