Call conversion and getting a call are totally different things and they have a vast percentile difference between them. It actually depends not only on your Cat percentile but also on your over all profile. Sometimes IIMs dont call candidates even if they score really high in Cat. And sometimes even the best Candidates dont go through.
But since your query is specific to getting calls, go through this link to get collegewise call cutoffs for IIMs.

Hello Anubhav,
TalkingAbout IIM-A : IN 2017-18 the institute has sent call letters to 182 students who have scored 90 percentile or less in CAT, by an IIMA official, to promote diversity in its classes is behind this decision. The lowest percentile rank for OBC category is 75.53 percentile, for SC it is 70.78 percentile, 60.84 percentile for scheduled tribe and 70.81 percentile for differently abled candidates who have cleared CAT 2017. Reason for issuing call letters to students with CAT score considered low for other IIMs is that IIMA invites top scoring candidates from varied courses -be it journalism, business administration, arts and humanities, design course, LLB or BTech- BE to mention few.
Other Top IIMS and Bschools : You can expect a call at 90+ only if you have an extraordinary profile and that makes you Different from others. In general, 95-98+ is expected to get from Top IIMS and Top Bschools. GD/PI, Academic matter after getting a call to get convert.
I would suggest you to that minm 70 percentile is required to get a call from IIM'S and sectional cutoff above 75 to be at safer side will be a good option.
All The Best For Future Endeavours !!

Dear Anubhav,
Please note that the calling criteria for various IIMs is different. You should meet a certain minimum cutoff in every section as well overall cutoff for the exam. Then only you can expect a call.
I would say a sectional cut off over 70 and overall over 75-80 would be good enough for new IIMs. For older ones try to get over 90 percentile.
And in any case dont think of minimum you need. just try to maximize your score in any case.
all the best.
For getting calls from other old IIMs like IIM L, K and I you need to score 85+ percentile and in order to increase probability of conversion aim for 90+ percentile.
For getting calls for all new IIMs and ultra new IIMs you need to score atleast 75+ percentile. By scoring 75-80 percentile you won't get calls from all IIMs so aim for atleast 80+ to get call for second round of interview and WSAT from all New IIMs.
And also remember one thing CAT percentile is not enough alone becuase after CAT exam every college including IIM in which you have applied makes up a merit list to call students for next round of interview and WSAT which is based on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer and gender with different weightages for different IIMs.
So a good profile is must to have a call. And there are few exceptional college like IIM Indore which gives more weightage to academic records even more than CAT marks whereas IIM Bangalore which gives more weightage to work experience.
So always aim for a very high percentile to convert in a better college.
All the best!!
You need to score atleast 85 percentile to cover up marks loss due to academic records so that you can get call from IIMs.
