To appear for JEE Advanced a candidate must qualify in JEE Main. NTA will specify the qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main every year. In 2020 the qualifying cut off percentile was as follows
- General:90.3765335
- OBC-NCL:72.8887969
- EWS:70.2435518
- SC:50.1760245
- ST:39.0696101
- PWD:0.0618524
The expected qualifying percentile for JEE Main 2021 is as follows
- General: 90-95
- OBC-NCL/EWS: 70-75
- SC: 50-55
- ST:40-45
- PWD: 1-2
Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

Just scoring the cut off marks may not help you to get seat in an IIT. You need to score above the cut off marks. Analyzing the past year cut off trends for IITs your rank should be within 1500 if you belong to general category for that you need to score minimum 50-55% of total score and if you belong to reserved category you need to score minimum 40-50% of total score and you rank must be within 2000.

To write jee advanced you need to qualify jeemains first.There are cutoffs for different categories for qualifying jeemains.you did not mention your category considering you from GEN category below are cutoffs for qualify jeemains:
gen category:90-95
gen ews:70-75
obc ncl:70-75
sc:50-55
st:40-45
pwd:1-2
note that each year cutoffs change due to may factors like total stduents appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper etc factors so as of now its tough to say what are exact cutoffs.the above mentioned are based on previous year cutoff.if you get minimum of these cutoff in jeemains based on category then you have high chances to qualify jeemains to write jee advanced.now to join iits,irrespective of branch you need a minimum of 3000 rank below to fetch seat in IIT bombay.other IITs a safe rank below 7k would be helpful for you.to get information about all other iits cutoffs for previous year refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff

You need to clear JEE advance to get admission in IITs,
The cutoff marks for IITs is around 89.75 in common rank list, 78.71 in general rank list.
