In 2019, under State Quota, 558 marks secured a seat in Alappuzha Medical College and Majari Medical College under General Category for Government Medical College. That has been the cut off for GMCs. Under Govt. Controlled Self Financing Medical Colleges, Pariyaram Medical College had a cut off of 522 for General Category. Under Private Self Financing Medical Colleges, the cut off for General Category was 521. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat under General Category for either a seat in Government Medical College or Govt. Controlled Self Financing College or Private College, you should aim for more than 50 marks more than those mentioned here.
