Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test, commonly known as CA CPT, is administered in offline mode. The exam is held two times in a year, in the month of June and November. This is the exam through which candidates become eligible to pursue Chartered Accountancy (CA) as a career. CA CPT determines candidates capabilities in General Economics, Accounting, Mercantile Laws, and Quantitative Aptitude. This national-level examination is administered by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). CA CPT is organized in 196 cities across the country. Those students who are aspiring to build a successful career as a Chartered Accountant will have to give the examination and clear the cut off. But before that, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria imposed by the concerned authority.
