Dear aspirant
Earlier, the NDA exam was taken only by unmarried male candidates and female candidates were not allowed to take the exam. However, in an interim order passed by the Supreme Court of India on August 18, 2021, the court has allowed girls/ women to take the NDA exam.
Even though the Supreme Court has passed this order to allow women applicants to appear for the NDA 2 2021 exam to be held on November 14. It is to be noted that the NDA 2 application form 2021 window is closed now. So going by the SC order it is expected that UPSC might open the NDA 2 2021 application window once again for the female candidates to apply for the NDA exam.
So if the application form windows open once again then you can apply from this year only or otherwise you will have to wait for the next attempt. NDA exam is held twice a year.
The NDA candidate should be of age year between 16.5-19.5 yrs
To be eligible for appearing in the NDA 2022 exam candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognised board.
